Burma Cyclone - Situation Update
Project(s): 75-745
Country: Myanmar, Burma
The first grants have been used to provide water, food (especially rice and milk powder for babies), tarpaulins (to make temporary shelters) and medical aid to Christians in scores of villages in the Irrawaddy Delta area and in Rangoon (Yangon). We have also been focusing on helping orphans, both those in existing Christian orphanages and the newly orphaned children who lost their Christian parents in the cyclone.”
