Barnabas Fund is supporting a training programme which teaches local church leaders an effective method of farming, closely linked to discipleship principles. The leaders then pass on their new skills to their congregations Yields are vastly increased compared with traditional methods, yet labour is less intense, making it ideal for elderly widows or child-headed families as well as others. Barnabas Fund is also providing seed for those who have been trained.
