The Lord has promised, "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." (Jeremiah 31:25)

On Christmas Day, 25 December 2009, Zimbabwean riot police burst into a communion service in a cathedral in Harare, beat up worshippers and forced them out of the building. At least three other churches were raided by police on the same day. This happened despite a high court order instructing police not to interfere with church activities. The dispute may be related to an ongoing issue concerning an excommunicated bishop who is a great supporter of President Mugabe. Whatever the reason, pray that persecution of Christian worshippers in Zimbabwe will cease.
