The Lord has promised, "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." (Jeremiah 31:25)

The Supreme Court of Bangladesh has ruled that political parties must stop using religion in their names or in their campaigns. This will affect the dozens of Islamic political parties in the country and is good news for Christians, Hindus and other non-Muslims in Bangladesh. Praise God for this development, and pray that the impact of Islam in Bangladesh will decrease, thus making life easier for non-Muslim minorities. Bangladesh's original constitution banned the use of religion in politics, but an amendment introduced later has allowed religion-based politics to flourish for the last 30 years.
