Senior Bookkeeper



A very interesting and unique vacancy has arisen due to retirement of current member of staff. The person will be responsible for doing the complete accounts for the charity and the

We are urgently looking for a qualified bookkeeper, with solid experience in financial software.
Responsibilities will include balancing, monthly management reporting, as well as the day to day accounting functions of the charity. The successful candidate would be well organised, methodical and self- motivated, and have good degree of flexibility.

Salary level: circa £26,000 per annum, or according to experience.


Web Content Editor


This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for someone who is interested in our new initiatives on the web and who wants to be directly involved in raising worldwide awareness of the persecuted Church as well as to provide up-to-date information on events affecting Christians in the areas of persecution.

The right person would have good IT skills and display excellent attention to details, working as part of the larger team. You will be managing content of several websites, working with copy and images. Basic knowledge of web and graphic design will be an advantage as well as a university degree. Further in-house training on our website will be provided.

Salary level: £21,000 – 23,000 per annum

Church and Area Representatives Co-ordinator


Do you have an understanding of what it means to be a volunteer and how to encourage and inspire them? And do you have what it takes to manage, develop and grow our national network of volunteer representatives? If your answer is ‘yes’ then you might be the person we’re looking for.

We require an experienced person who has good communication and inter-personal skills to look after our network of church and area representatives – keeping them up to date with the latest news, enthused about Barnabas Fund and equipped to make the Church in the UK aware of the needs of the suffering Church. You will be organised, self-motivated, working well on your own, as well as part of the bigger team. The ability to undertake speaking engagements on behalf of the Fund would be a distinct advantage.

Salary level: £20,000 – 22,000 per annum

PA to Directors


We are looking for an experienced and highly organised person to fill this exciting and challenging position assisting the two directors. Job descriptions includes maintaining the diary, arranging appointments, travel bookings, dealing with E-mail and postal correspondence, filing, administration of special events (including international conferences) etc.

A successful person will have previous relevant experience, be flexible and have appropriate computer skills.

Salary level: £23,000 – 24,000 per annum

MIDLANDS VACANCIES




Office Co-ordinator


We are looking for someone to oversee the day-to-day running of our administrative office in Coventry with approximately 14 staff members. Relating to Barnabas Fund HQ in Pewsey, the role will include Site Management, Health and Safety, ensuring smooth running of the office and other duties, including assisting with gift administration and acknowledgement letters. We are looking for a responsible person, able to work well as part of a team, with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to work, willing to get fully involved in a range of tasks as necessary.

Salary level: £23,000 – 24,000 per annum
