WILTSHIRE (PEWSEY) VACANCIES


Bookkeeper


We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who will assist our Accountant with the day-to-day accounting of Barnabas Fund. The person will need to be methodical, attentive to detail and experienced in financial software and databases . Training in our particular software packages will be given. This is an opportunity to be directly involved in helping the persecuted church through a growing charity.

Salary level: £21,000 – £23,000 per annum


Editorial Assistant


Are you a skilled and experienced copy-editor, good at working under pressure, and with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-changing situation? The writing and editorial team of Barnabas Fund is seeking an editorial assistant whose main role will be copy-editing and proof-reading material produced in a wide variety of styles. The job will also include some writing and research, as well as related administrative tasks.

University level qualification required.

Salary level: £21,000 – £23,000 per annum

Web Content Editor


This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for someone who is interested in our new initiatives on the web and who wants to be directly involved in raising worldwide awareness of the persecuted Church as well as to provide up-to-date information on events affecting Christians in the areas of persecution.

The right person would have good IT skills and display excellent attention to details, working as part of the larger team. You will be managing content of several websites, working with copy and images. Basic knowledge of web and graphic design will be an advantage as well as a university degree. Further in-house training on our website will be provided.

Salary level: £21,000 – 23,000 per annum

Church and Area Representatives Co-ordinator


Do you have an understanding of what it means to be a volunteer and how to encourage and inspire them? And do you have what it takes to manage, develop and grow our national network of volunteer representatives? If your answer is ‘yes’ then you might be the person we’re looking for.

We require an experienced person who has good communication and inter-personal skills to look after our network of church and area representatives – keeping them up to date with the latest news, enthused about Barnabas Fund and equipped to make the Church in the UK aware of the needs of the suffering Church. You will be organised, self-motivated, working well on your own, as well as part of the bigger team. The ability to undertake speaking engagements on behalf of the Fund would be a distinct advantage.

Salary level: £20,000 – 22,000 per annum
