Uganda Coronavirus (COVID-19) 31 March 2020

South Rwenzori

From a senior pastor

“Besides being affected by the Corona Virus coupled with the closure of churches and borders, the Christians of South Rwenzori have not come out of the sorrows that came as a result of thousands losing their relatives. On November 26th and 27th, 2016 massacre that resulted from the fight between government forces and local cultural institution guards in Kasese left behind very many widows and orphans of whom are part of the Church. Therefore, the population was just recovering from the 2016 calamity and other calamities like floods and droughts that followed [and then coronavirus came].”
