Food and basic needs for Ukrainian Christians amidst war

3 May 2024

“This was once the school. It’s all destroyed now. Everything was bombed,” said a Ukrainian Christian when he spoke to our project partner in a village just four miles from the front line. Hundreds of Christians were taking shelter in the few remaining buildings left standing.

Ukrainian Christian villagers close to the conflict zones are seeking refuge where they can, having lost everything when they fled their homes. And with the war creating shortages of even the basics, many are facing futures without food, medicine or hope.  Churches and Christian communities are helping as much as they can, but they too are poor and struggling.

But thanks to Barnabas supporters, they have renewed hope.

Our Ukrainian brothers and sisters close to the front line are grateful for your support of food, medicine and other aid. Will you help us send more?

“We are gathering people to help each other, and we share all the good news and aid from Barnabas. God bless you and God provide to you as well,” finished a Ukrainian Christian, speaking to our project partner as aid was being distributed.

You can help our displaced Christian family in Ukraine

In the 12 months to February 2024, you have helped us fill 16 containers with food, medicine and other aid, which we have sent to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.

Thousands of Christians in the region have been sustained thanks to the generous donations of Barnabas supporters. Through God’s help and yours, we are continuing to provide hope and practical aid to Christians in Ukraine, as well as Ukrainian refugees in neighbouring countries.

A shipment of aid, generously donated from supporters across North America, was gratefully received by Christians in Ukraine during the winter months earlier this year

“We thank you very much. You are coming to us and help us so much – we thank you, Barnabas Aid, for the help that we received from you,” said our project partner.

Can you help us continue to provide for our suffering family in Ukraine? The need is still great.
