The Apostle Paul instructs us, “Rejoice always, pray continually” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17).

While there is much to ask for in prayer, there is also much to give thanks for. Many hundreds of thousands of believers have received help and aid from Barnabas in the last 12 months alone.

We would love to encourage you to give thanks for what, by God’s grace, we have been able to achieve.

A Christian in Pakistan gives thanks for Barnabas-funded aid. We are shifting the focus of our Barnabas Aid Update to encourage you to rejoice always and pray continually for the suffering Church

For this reason you will notice a shift in emphasis in the “Latest updates” section of our website and in our regular Barnabas Aid Update email.

We will still highlight instances of persecution and discrimination, but our focus will be on the work Barnabas is doing to help and to serve the Body of Christ.

In this way we hope to encourage you, to help you in praying continually for the Church, and to provide reasons for you to rejoice in the work of God on behalf of His people.
