Holot detention centre in the Negev Desert of Israel: an Eritrean Christian asylum-seeker considers his future

A number of readers have contacted Barnabas Aid following our email appeal last week and an article in our March-April 2017 magazine  about the plight of Eritrean refugees in Israel. The information we reported is shocking and distressing and we understand that it comes as a surprise to many.  The situation is also being reported by the Israeli press.

We at Barnabas Aid are not against the state of Israel, but we are reporting this situation because we are a ministry which exists to help suffering Christians. We are urging the Israeli government to treat these vulnerable people humanely.
